Fox Home Entertainment announces a new DVD edition of the 1961
Irwin Allen science-fiction film Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea
(20th Century-Fox), starring Walter Pidgeon, Peter Lorre, Barbara Eden, Joan
Fontaine, Michael Ansara, and Frankie Avalon.
Admiral Nelson (Walter Pidgeon) and the crew of the atomic submarine
Seaview must race against time to extinguish the burning Van Allen
radiation belt and avert global disaster.

The Frankie & Annette MGM Movie Legends Collection

From 1963 to 1965, Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello co-starred
in a series of five summertime "beach party" movies for American International
Pictures, with plenty of music, dancing, surfing -- and a "guest appearance" from
a classic film star in the AIP stock company.
In 1964, Peter Lorre took a turn in Muscle Beach Party, which
was in release at the very time newspapers were running the obituary announcing
his passing.
MGM Home Entertainment presents a 4-disc DVD box-set of eight
films starring Frankie and Annette -- together and separately -- from AIP.
